Heads Up Safety Program
Baltimore Terps Coaches have access to NFL nationally accredited coaching education program, and are trained and certified to teach Heads Up tackling techniques. A Terps Player Safety Coach educates coaches and parents and monitors practices and games for player safety. Coaches, parents and players are trained to recognize concussions.
Baltimore Terrapins Youth Football Inc. is a pending not for profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Northwest Baltimore.The philosophy of the program is simple, all players should have an opportunity to participate in competitive, organized tackle football regardless of size or ability.
The goal of the program is to be the best Youth Football organization possible, while providing a safe, fun atmosphere where players can learn the fundamentals of the game while stressing scholastic achievement. We pledge to teach the discipline, physical and technical skills required to be successful on the field and transform those attributes into players everyday life.
Terps Football is open to all players ages 5-14 regardless of weight or skill level. We provide a platform for participants to play the proper position for their body size, ensuring their success as they move on to high school and beyond.
To achieve this mission, Terps Football provides a supervised program of conditioning, training and competitive football. All members shall be guided by the principle that exceptional athletic skill and winning games is meaningful, but academics, family, leadership and teamwork should be of the utmost importance.

The Baltimore Terps Youth Football Spring Season has begun, We have continued the dynamic relationship with Tavon McGee's Elite Skill Sports Clinic. Elite Skills expert staff specializes in improving an athlete’s fundamental skills with a focus on enhancing a players agility, explosion, performance and work ethic.
Teaming up with Elite Skills Sports Clinic ensures that each student athletic will be reach their fullest potential and be ready for the next level.
