The Terps will be participating in the Prince Georges County Youth Lacrosse League, (PGYLL) for the 2019 Season.
All PGYLL games are “rec level” inspired by the principals of US Lacrosse’s “Lacrosse Athlete Development Model” (LADM). This is a “Small-Sided” League, with games played on an 60-yard by 35-yard field. US Lacrosse strongly encourages the “small-sided” format because it is proven to quickly improve stick skills and greatly increase the number of “touches on the ball” that players get per game.
All PGYLL games will be played at the Walker Mill Turf Field, 8840 Walker Mill Rd, District Heights, MD 20747 in Prince George’s County. The Spring 2019 age divisions will be: K-2nd Grade, 3rd-4th Grade, 5th-6th Grade and 7th-8th Grade
To supplement Terps player growth, we will also be playing additional games and tournaments throughout the Central MD area, along with some out of state travel games and trips.
The Terps has partnered with Baltimore Lacrosse Elite (BLE) to provide the “Club experience” of high level instruction and competition for advanced players. If selected to participate in BLE players will participate in regional tournaments year round and benefit from the exposure offered to advanced players.

Terps Mission
The Baltimore Terps is a athletic and academic program dedicated to the youth of Baltimore. The philosophy of the program is simple, all players should have an opportunity to participate in quality competitive, organized sports regardless of size or ability.
The goal of the program is to be the best youth sports organization possible, while providing a safe, fun atmosphere where players can learn the fundamentals of the game while stressing scholastic achievement. We pledge to teach the discipline, physical and technical skills required to be successful on the field and transform those attributes into players everyday life.
Baltimore Terps Sports is open to all players ages 4-14 regardless of weight or skill level. We provide a platform for participants to play the proper position for their body size, ensuring their success as they move on to high school and beyond.
To achieve this mission, Baltimore Terps Sports provides a supervised program of conditioning, training and competitive athletics. All members shall be guided by the principle that exceptional athletic skill and winning games is meaningful, but academics, family, leadership and teamwork should be of the utmost importance.
Lady Terps Cheer
The Baltimore Terps is continuing its tradition with the Lady Terps Cheer leading Team for the 2017 Season. If you have what it takes to join this athletic and competitive Cheer Squad then sign up right away!
The Lady Terps will travel and cheer for all Terps Teams at every home & away game. Two squads will be formed based on age, and skill levels to ensure that all girls have fun and learn the sport of competitive cheer leading. There are a limited number of openings available, and spots are filling up fast.
The Lady Terps is open to all girls ages 7-14
